Tempting but a lot of battery performance drop off complaints and broken plastic synchronizing gears/drive gears that people are saying hard to get in the reviews. I'd dig into that further before committing unless your lawn is free of anything that could cause a jam etc. We've been trying to decide where to go from our snapper 60v (small OEM from what I understand) 21" push, battery performance has dropped some but not totally unacceptably, but it takes forever to mow .3 acres especially if we bag, been looking at the gas toro timemaster 30", I'd get the battery but it's twice as much. I'd love it if someone could come out with something like this or larger but make it truly reliable for around a grand for the mower and batteries.

I guess it has two blades to get 25". Reviews for it not good.

They do have the zero turn on sale for $4000 42" it has a motor for the drive and a motor for each of two blades. Reviews are much better.

I have the 21 inch self propelled model I brought in clearance for $190 in 2019. It is still working great. I purchased an extra blade but still haven't used it as I can sharpen it myself. I purchased two extra batteries, my yard is a half acre of thick St Augustine grass that I don't cut low. The original battery still works well. I keep it in the house in a cool place. I wait until that night or the next day to charge them. In the winter, I put them in the mower and run it for a few minutes once every month or two, then charge them back up. I'm very pleased with this mower. In fact, Tractor supply had a newer version of my mower on sale last month for $400 and it came with two batteries and a dual charger. 2 of the 60v 4.0 batteries there were going for $150 so I brought one for whenever my old one stops working.

60V 25" mower is also on sale for $599.99. It's decent, I had it but ended up selling and going back to my gas Honda. My Honda mulches much better with the dual blade, but I do miss the 25" width.

Also have a 21" 60v mower i picked up on clearance about 3 years back. Think it was 159-ish. Mine is the non-push though. It's still running great, only have one battery for it but it does both of my (very small) yards on one charge. No complaints.

The twin blade design on this mower is terrible. We switched to an ego and it has so much more power and torque, but it is much more narrow and heavy

Yes I bought a Kobalt which is basically the same push mower 6 years ago it worked fine for five years then sort of died. I bought a new one and am still using one of the original batteries two years later. We moved so have a riding mower but I use the push to get close to things like trees and the fence.

I had a smaller twin blade green works 20" and it worked fine just not as well as the 21" single blade.

the 25" has a very weak tranny for the drive gears, and this has been a known for all 4 generations. The problem with greenworks is when you lay off the gas, the tranny doesnt disengage for a full rotation of the tire. So you have to remember to lay off the gas about 6" before you want turn. Or you just ham fist it and lay off the gas and drag it back to you or make a sharp turn, while the tranny is holding the tires from turning, and you will get maybe 100 hours out of the unit before the gears are stripped.

Im not sure if this insta lock after letting off the gas is a safety feature to keep it from rolling backwards, or a design flaw.

I wouldn't mind if congress stepped in and forced companies to adopt a battery standard to prevent lock-in on this kind of thing
