Contacted the seller and they were very dismissive. Just said to issue eBay Return. The item weighs almost 100lbs in packaging. They want me to load into my car, drive to a UPS, unload from my car, take my hand truck to get into UPS store for what? A refund of what I paid?
They know 100% they never inspected the item, sent an item that did NOT match their description and was NOT refurbished but instead USED (and / or returned after used and never inspected). This seller should not be trusted and buy definitely at your own risk
I do not think all of the effort to return is anywhere worth us being EVEN. And the seller knows this too which is why they DARE you to do the return process

The only cheap option is buying a couple heavy duty extension cords with splitters on the end and running them inside to plug in things as needed.
Do you know why this model is the same price with them but less power
Be thankful this one by OP does not have the CO sensor...
I bought two of the WH03242F on the Costco deal for around $600 each. They have some quirks that are easily fixable.
They run great and are pretty quiet but slightly louder than a Honda of course...
The wheels on both of mine scraped the outer housing. I added a couple of thick washers to each bolt between the axle mount and case. This stopped the rubbing.
Even though this does not apply to this exact unit by OP, I saw lots of issues on forums about the CO sensor shutting these Firmans off way too easily. Mine did the same. Caused me some headaches until I googled how to bypass the CO sensor. Basically they WILL shut off randomly because the sensor is WAY too sensitive. On mine all I had to do was remove the back vent panel on the opposite side of the exhaust and cut the yellow wire with a green line. It hasn't shut off since.
Before anyone freaks out, I HAVE several CO sensors in every place where PEOPLE are and could sleep. Any time you are running a generator you should have a CO sensor NEAR you.
Why anyone would put a sensor anywhere ON a generator is beyond me. It WILL cause the thing to shut off at some point unless you are in a windstorm. CO SENSORS NEED TO BE WHERE PEOPLE ARE AND NOT DIRECTLY ON A GENERATOR especially when the instructions specifically tell you to place the unit far away from houses or people.
The reason I bring this up is... I think there are a ton of Firman "refurbs" out there for cheap because Firman got the sensor wrong and most people returned perfectly good or basically almost new units and now Firman is ditching them for cheap.
The one I have is $399 on eBay now and $320 with the 20% discount "LABORDAYTWENTY". IT IS a STEAL if the sensor has been fixed or if you bypass it with one snip or install a switch in line.
It's dual fuel, quiet, parallel capable, electric start, eco mode to save gas... Its great for $320 even with scratches.
