The S7 Ultra (no MaxV) and S8 Pro both have mop dryers built into the dock. They also have a bit more suction than the MaxV.
Vs. any of the S7's, S8 Pro has wider wheels (better traction), a non-removable mop plate (downgrade), two mop vibrators (upgrade), built in water storage instead of a removable tank (mixed bag), a different side roller (mixed bag), and dual brushes instead of a single brush. The brushes are getting mixed reviews. Seems they're better on carpet but that gaps between the rollers reduce performance a bit on hardwoods and tile. The S8 Pro's dock has bigger water tanks and better-designed handles.
I'd rate it as S7 MaxV (+buy a mop dryer attachment) > S8 Pro > S7 Ultra (no MaxV).
The Revo is a curveball. It's a great price:performance machine and makes the S7 Ultra no-MaxV a hard purchase to justify. Most people would be best served stepping up to the MaxV or S8 or dropping down to to the Revo.
Here's a good comparison of the S8 Pro and MaxV's obstacle avoidance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6...EhM

Q2 - Is the "Q Revo" the same as "Q7 Max+"
Q3 - Those that have mopping, Can you use hardwood floor cleaner in the bin (as water would damage the floor)?

I bought them on prime day and did a bunch of research in a few hours and decided the revos were the best for me. I am not sure what the maxv could do that the revo doesn't because the revo's have been absolutely fantastic. Besides some small issues setting them up because they don't play well with floor to ceiling glass all over, they have made our floors absolutely beautiful. It used to take 4-5 hours to do a legit cleaning of the floors, and now they are cleaner than ever, every single day. The only thing that has to be manually done are the stairs and that only takes 15 minutes or so.
I also bought 100 dust bags for $50 from ALI, along with OEM replacement parts like brushes and mop heads. I was thinking these were going to be consumables, but they all look like new.

But it still needs attention - with daily aggressive cleaning (most intense setting for mopping) it takes care after my dog and 2 cats that are constantly shedding. I clean it once a month to remove hairs from the wheel (easier to do than most vacuums) and clean&dirty water container needs to be filled/emptied every 3 days which a little bit too often but ok.
Deal is ok - got mine new for $1000 on Prime Day

Not sure how long the bags in the self-empty canister will last. Didn't have to deal with that on my Shark.
