Product Features:
Get surreal with the Xbox Wireless Controller – Stellar Shift Special Edition, featuring a color-shifting, blue-purple shimmer. Experience the rubberized purple swirl grip, a first of its kind from Xbox with a mesmerizing pattern that makes each one unique by design.
Includes Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth technology for wireless gaming on supported consoles, Windows PCs, and Android and iOS phones and tablets
Really wish Microsoft would release a better controller with something updated other than the color of plastic.
Dualsense is miles ahead of Xbox controllers with features like gyroscope, adaptive triggers and better haptics- but natively, I prefer the feel of an Xbox controller.
The elite series isn't a step in the right direction either for a couple paddles on the back at 2.5x the price.
If Xbox did the following for Elite Series 3, I'd buy ASAP:
1. Hall Effect Sensors - no more stick drift!
2. Replaceable batteries - Rechargeable Eneloops for the win!
3. Better features - gyroscope, adaptive triggers, and. better haptics
4. More Elite themes - with so many IPs, why not make more themed controllers? Starfield, Gears of War, Forza, Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush and others would've made great candidates!
From the reviews people left on the AllState plan, yes, it covers stick drift !!!BUT!!! note that you have to check with Microsoft first. In other words, register your Xbox controller (device) to your account and if it fails or has stick drift within a year, contact MS first. After that, check with AllState. Hope this helps!

I accidently knocked it off the ottoman to the hard floor, so just like 2 feet but landed on the left stick apparently and now it has bad drift. Sometime I'd like to try getting a cheap controller and swapping the shells around when I'm feeling adventurous.

I have the 20th anniversary one too and the left joystick has stick drift. Before you swap out the board set, make sure you connect your controller to the Xbox and get the dynamic theme. Unfortunately, the themes are tied to the boards and when you select a different theme, the 20th anniversary one goes away. Really odd how MS did that.

Does the theme get tied to the acct once it gets connected? Or only available while using that controller?
