I bought two pairs last time. They do fall apart. Not hot and not that much water proof.
I've worn the all black almost daily this whole spring/summer. I usually wear either Nike or Merrel but I tried out a pair of the trailstroms back from another SD last year. I'm in Georgia (USA) and my Merrel MOABs were just getting to hot this year and I made the switch.. They don't run hot at all for me and are very comfortable running errands. I also wouldn't wear them to the office though.

I can attest to that. My hubby and I both own these and they are hot and are not waterproof

Agreed. I bought a pair last year on an earlier deal and they started fraying and developed an outright hole within a very short timespan. Crazy awful for "hiking sneakers" since the longest hike I took was to the mailbox and back.
