Agree, I used to only get tires at Costco but recently switched to Discount. Costco tends to be very slow when it comes to rotations and often gets behind with appointments. In my area rotations usually take at least an hour, while Discount has you in and out in under 30 minutes.
Pro-tip: If you have a 'Discount Tire' locally, they will match the price to the penny. I prefer Discount Tire, as there are multiple in my City, they are faster and more friendly.
Didn't Costco used to offer 150 off Michelin's now I'm seeing only 100 off. Am I going crazy?

How to do price match at discount tire? Anything I need to show to get price match? TIA
You call Discount Tire Discount or Discount Tire or America's Tire https://www.discounttiredirect.com (same company as Discount Tire and America'sTire) and tell them where you got a better offer. They will ask you for the proof.
Can anyone share their experience with Michelin Defender 2 tires? My OE Toyo A38 tires are down to 2/32" at 37k miles. The Defender 2 looks great but some reported poor traction got me worried. I'm also comparing Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra and Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3, if anyone has experience with either of these as well.
I'm going to call Discount Tire to see if they would price match the wholesale warehouse version of the defender 2, Michelin X Tour AS 2, which are a bit cheaper.

Have you look into Walmart BF price for Goodyear Outlast Tires ?? Wondering if that's better deal than Michelin X Tour AS 2

I haven't because often times I heard people say they're "good for a year" tires. I just checked the price, $515 for four after tax, unbeatable. I just don't know how well they are on the road. But tbh, I'm more thrilled to get Pirelli Scorpion As Plus 3, if DT can price match, because they are $767 after tax and installation buying from SimpleTire rn.
Edit: there's also a $80 mail-in rebate program from Pirelli. So $687 after everything. I'll go with this one.
Do you know if you can keep your old tires? One of my tires has a nail and I'd like to swap out all 4 but don't necessarily want to give up the other 3.

Yes, you can keep the old ones. I bought winter tires there and kept the all season tires.

Do they also price match for the installation?
In other words, Costco has free installation.
Does discount tire waive that fee too?
They matched my out the door price to the penny, including installation.
do you know, any way to save some more money?
like buying discount tire gift cards for discounts if any.
or paying discount tire purchase in online (using vanilla gift cards) ?

I really like my pirellis from discount tire
You guys check the Michelin models here and the reviews are good? Or you trusting the Michelin brand to just be good regardless? Serious question
That said, cross climate 2 seems solid and has a mail in rebate out there
