I've never been impressed with DeWalt grinding discs. They don't cut as fast or last as long as what real premium discs cost, but DeWalt does price them as if they were. I get it that the 'Zon promotes these, but this isn't a good price.

These discs/wheels are much more "consumable" vs. something like a saw blade so if you're in a shop cutting all day, you can go through em pretty fast. Even for small jobs, depending on the material and type of usage, they don't really last hence the price point.
