These are good containers, but there are caveats to that.

1.) They are not dishwasher safe. Hand washing them isn't much fun.

2.) The "Lifetime warranty" is a joke. They won't replace them if the seal cracks and leaks all over your kid's backpack (happened twice to us).

I'd pass if you're banking on the warranty or them being "leak proof". Just trying to let people know what they're buying.

These are excellent containers, we used them for kids from age 2-10 (or until they outgrow the small capacity). Pretty nice, durable, easy to clean, not too many parts.

FYI these are stated to be dishwasher safe (it's shown in the details section on the target website). The problem with using them in the dishwasher is that the paint starts to come off after 5-10 washes. I haven't tried replacing them under warranty, but it doesn't sound like that's going to be an easy task…

We have this model but with dinosaurs and it's gone through the washer hundreds of times. There are scratches on the dinosaurs but the base coat is untouched. We like that the mouthpiece and straw are replaceable and do so every few months.

My baby shark one is mostly blue now. We use the dishwasher but I've also had the paint come off when scrubbing it too much with a sink wash.

I have several that we've used for 3+ years. Sometimes the handle breaks off, but the bottle still works. We replace the straws every couple of months, though they wash pretty clean. We mostly drink water with it though.

i'd say that these are 90% dishwasher safe - i have a half dozen, all are at least 2 years old, each one goes through the dishwasher several times per week.

ONE has severely damaged graphics and one partially - however they are both stainless with paint - the other 4 are painted a base color before the graphics are applied and they are all near perfect.

i do like that the guts are replaceable 2 straws and 2 silicone seal/top mouthpiece for $5 at amazon and in stock at target

i also like that all pieces (other than the base) are swappable with the larger size funtainers so even if you want larger ones you have spare parts from the smaller ones (and brand new graphics)

We always had issues with the release buttons always breaking off of these bottles. Might have been more an issue with how my daughter used it, but when you can't lock the lid down, it's kind of a problem.
