I actually was in the Alpha and beta testing for console. We helped work out a lot of bugs back then. I played on PC mainly and I usually take a year off and then go back for a few months, then off again. It's a fun game but after a while it gets repetitive. Most fun is on the holiday events, when they players in special ships that you can kill for rewards.

Good reason for that. They recently nerfed supercontainer rewards by about 50%, shut down the forums to push everyone into joining their Discord server, continue making premium ships and rewards harder to earn, and employ deceptive marketing to get people to spend more money. I don't care too much about the introduction of subs, but the addition of superships are extremely annoying, primarily because T9 premiums (the best ships to farm for credits and XP) used to fight at most 1 tier up but are now 2 tiers below superships. I still mostly enjoy the game but the changes are pushing me to spend less and less time in it.
