These are customer returns for parts or tinkering. So not necessarily running machines unless you fix a few things. Not something to buy as your first 3D printer.
However, they are inexpensive at $59 with free shipping, especially if you can't pick up a $99 Ender 3 V2 from MicroCenter nearby.
I would mainly see this as a base for a project where you want to convert the printer to something else, like one of those Ender 3 belt printer conversions, etc. Or just use it for parts.
The $69 Ender 3 Pro could also be converted to a Voron Switchwire for example.
There are also some refurbished [creality3d.store] machines with a 10% discount, which are checked and should work out of the box.

Ender 3 specs:
  • 220 x 220 x 250 mm print volume
  • Bowden extruder
  • Prints PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU
  • 0.4mm Nozzle Diameter
  • Printing precision 0.1mm
  • Movement speed up to 180mm/s
  • Heated print bed
  • 270W Power Supply

Speaking from experience, these are unusable and guaranteed to break in multiple ways within the first week (that's when they're NEW!). When you get this, you might as well skip a few days of infuriating frustration and just throw it straight in the trash!
While I have not bought a returned printer from comgrow, I have bought multiple returned printers from eBay, and direct from the manufacturers website. The worst one was a returned Mingda Magician X (I do not recommend buying anything from Mingda unless you are good at making your own custom firmware as their firmware is not good). With the exception of the Magician X, I have been able to repair everything. Usually the units have missing screws, or may have missing components (examples: missing z axis motor, coupler and rod, missing filament holder). This kind of deal isn't for everyone, but if you are experienced, then It is a great way to pick up machines cheaply to refurbish and use in a print farm.

My favorite brand for returned machines has been Voxelab, I have a Voxelab Aquila, and a Voxelab Aquila S2 that I bought as used returns. both were super easy to fix.

I have 2 Ender 3's bought new from Sainsmart on Amazon. They've been great printers. I've upgraded them quite a bit. Partially to improve performance (Cooling, Speed, Quietness), and partially because that's just what I do with stock 3D Printers.

I can't say that my experience is typical. But for $60 a fairly experience 3D Printing enthusiast can get these running pretty well for a basic bed slinger. The motors and Alu extrusion alone for a machine that isn't worth getting working is probably worth more than $60.

I'm looking at getting a couple for the specific purpose of converting them to Voron Enderwires (Switchwire Core XZ printer from a stock Ender 3).

I got mine in today. The bottom of the box looks like it had two tiny pieces of tape on either end so my box arrived open on the bottom missing most of the contents.

I'm in North Carolina. They sell these off return pallets. If you live in the United States near any Amazon distribution center, you should have no problem getting something like this that was returned for cheap. Here they bring in new pallets once a week. Day 1 everything is sold for $20, Day 2 $10, Day 3, $5, Day 4 $1. If you're mechanically inclined and able to repair things, you'll do well. A lot of the returns just have minor issues or the customer may have just had trouble operating the item.
I'm interested in this but my google searches aren't turning up this weekly pallet drop at distribution centers. Do you have more information?'

I'm also in NC, where do I find these warehouses?
