The description didn't mention 2 speeds but If it's exactly like what i own, then it should have 2 speeds. I think the slower speed is good for kids but i generally use the higher speed but it still doesn't feel overwhelmingly fast. I sometimes unknowingly use the slower speed and it still seems to clean adequately but the higher speed makes me feel more at peace. The single power button makes it so that you have rotate between high, low, off setting every time. (subjectively: high speed felt more like "normal" not overwhelming power, low speed felt like slightly below "normal" power)
Edit 8/31/23: I was wrong, my shipment just arrived and apologies but it doesn't have 2 speeds, just 1. Guess my old one I own looks the same but isn't exactly. It has "2 modes" printed above the power button on mine but the Walmart one shows "Timer". The power feels adequate but I know there's higher speed models out there.
I was enticed by the $15 Walmart cash offer when you buy 2, so I ended up purchasing 2 black toothbrushes (I didn't see the offer on the pink or white).

havent used it yet... wondering if i should buy this instead ??
i only brush once a day but professionally clean every 3-4months and every time the dentist tells me that I need to get under the gums more when brushing to better address the frequent plaques appearing closer to gum lines ....
i would think that the rotating motion and smaller head of the Oral B does a better job of getting under the gum lines and cleaning the harder to reach back teeth..??

Make sure you screenshot the $15 offer just in case. I've seen W+ cash offers not work (mostly with grocery where item is out of stock the first time you order).
For example, assuming lithium battery, if they only charge to 80-90% while on stand, there is no harm keeping it on charger. If they always charge to 100% then yes, it will harm battery in the long run.
i also dont buy too much into brush settings etc ... most of those are all just Marketing gimicks companies come up with to sell variations of the same ol rotating brush ..!!
i think i'll just grab this deal since i only need one brush anyways.. just to see if the rotating motion of OralB would work better than my good ol sonicare been using for years..!!?

The thing is Oral-B does not list the speed in the spec. I own both the 500 and 1000 and I believe 500 is noticeably slower. Slower means less brushing. I would not buy a 500 again.
Having said that, I wish they sell a toothbrush without the charging unit. I already have 2+ spares.

Battery lasts for years.
The brushes also have less power when they are partially discharged, so I'd rather just have and optimal performing brush by keeping it charged.
