I'm ordering for my middle age mom. There no reason adults can't use it. Just be gentle when you're washing. Don't be too rough on your scalp.

Check out shampoos that are aloe based. Ursa Major is a great brand for this, albeit expensive. I have thin hair myself and this helps.

I have used this exclusively for the entire body as well as hair for many years. Works great.

I wouldn't buy any personal care products from amazon though.
