These (like Shokz) aren't meant for sound quality but rather for spatial awareness when you're on a scooter/bike/running/etc and don't want to get hit by a car (not meaning to come off as giving excuses for the quality - just what the purpose for them is). There's only really so much sound quality you can do when where the speaker normally is is a small hole for sound passthrough.

Very solid price. Be aware these serve a specific purpose out in the real world and compromise to meet that purpose.

EDIT: To clarify - you know how Airpods Pro have transparency mode? These Sony ear buds are the "ultimate" transparency mode. They are open so it does not have to simulate that same effects so its natural. On the flip side, its forever stuck on that "mode".. because again, they are open.

So if you want headphones that disconnect you from the real world, these are literally the opposite of that. These are the headphones you want when you want to listen to music, but have to stay connected to the real world (like for example if you need to be aware at work in your office, but still want to listen to music).

I got them last time they were here. Though they appeared "new", they were called "Jessica's Buds" when I paired them to my phone. I haven't used them other than setting them up as my daily drivers are Shokz OpenRun Pro's (which I love) but they weren't terrible. The auto-cutting of sound when someone speaks is interesting.

I'm tempted to try them again. I had some disconnect issues and some fitment issues, but I really did like them when biking on the road

I got these in the last deal. They have great features and functionality however the battery life is 1 hour maximum. I reached out to seller and they replaced 2 for me but all had same issues so I just kept the 3rd one as I gave up.
