Hard to say if 4-5% negative, based on listed reviews, is good or bad not knowing how many units are going out. Most people don't leave good reviews but you can be certain people with bad experiences will.

Roughly half of those negative reviews were people not reading the description complaining about accessories not being included or shipping issues. But the other half were people with legit issues of broken parts, DOA, dirty, etc...

I don't think its much to be concerned about . If you figure only 25% of people leave feedback when they have a positive experience and almost 100% leave it when they have bad experience it really doesnt scale out to be that bad for a "refurbished" product.

I also wonder how many of these are costco returns for people who got them for a hurricane, never used it, then returned them or people who only needed it for a day then returned it.

I remember seeing people returning these to costco after a hurricane scare a year or 2 ago and i asked if they would sell me one for a discount lol. I was told they send them right back to the manufacturer.

I posted it as it was buried in the other post for the less powerful one. The one that this morning went out of stock & I posted that it came back in stock.

Just sharing the deal so people are aware it's out there. I purchased this one and don't care other than to spread the word & deal.

Yeah with the conversion kit. LP and natural gas run at different pressures.

not true, I left the same regular ethanol containing unleaded gas in a portable generator, running it once every 6 months on average for short amounts of time, never changing out that same gas and it still starts fine,

however I just ran it dry, changed the oil, added some sea foam to some fresh ethanol free gas, and should be set for another 2 years. these carbs on these things don't gum up nearly as bad or easily as people say. you have to wonder, if people are just quoting google, or actually had a carb gum up in such a short amount of time.
Modern additives pretty much make it a non issue if you use them as well.

how do you know it had 0 hours ?
Because there's an LCD display on it that you can cycle through 3 data points and hours is one of them. I think it's hertz, volts, hours.

Somewhat similar experience here, but with a mower. Left the same old gas in it for 4 years, never added stabilizer, never once started it in hard winters. (Temps here range from -10 to 110F) Still fired up every spring just fine. Finally appeared to croak this year, but I dropped the carb bowl, cleaned it out and 5 minutes later it was running fine again. Since I had it out, I changed the oil, replaced the plug, drained and changed the gas, and put a new air filter in. I guess no electric mower for me for another decade. Lol.

No idea how paranoia gets spread so easily.

In my very humid area with wide temperature swings, untreated gas left for more than a few months gums up the whole thing. I've had good luck with Sta-bil and Startron making it last a year or so.

I have very little interest in playing Russian roulette with whether it will start up when I want to use it, and cleaning out the carb and system is far more than a five minute job.

That's why I bought the dual-fuel and run it on propane.

I listed this yesterday on the other post! love the copy cat!

Not bad, but if you're looking for dual fuel, it's only 352$ more and 4000w with 192cc engine.

Lol you stole it bro from that dude that posted it. You posted the single fuel for same price haha 😄
I mean if we want to argue over being first ... I mentioned it in the big thread for the (now marked expired) 3200w model at ~7:40pm on the 28th...

But kudos to the person that made a separate post for it so people can see it more. A lot more value on it's own but also looks like a ton of people were able to find it in the big post and went with that model. Its a great deal. Mine will be here Saturday

Doesn't large tank propane run at different pressure than BBQ style tanks? Does it work out of the box with this? (Assuming there is a regulator on the tank)

Is this the size necessary for the startup draw of a std forced air natural gas furnace or would the smaller ones posted previous suffice?

Thanks

Does this provide enough power to keep a deep freezer and a fridge on during a power outage?
