Appreciate the share. However, this clearance bit-by-bit has been going on since July. Example below:

Employees tell me Klein struck an exclusive deal with Lowes, so Klein hand-tools are going away in favor of Milwaukee.
There's some deals to be had, but they're scattered by store location. It has helped me with a couple of things I wanted, and the rest I tossed up on Ebay.

I saw a Klein display at a Lowes. It looks like they are going to carry a bigger variety of products. They had the Klein equivalent of the Milwaukee Packout which I had not seen at HD. The majority of the hand tools where on the spiral type hooks that are secured with a lock mechanism

In the more 'urban' part of town, they had them all behind a locked cage, and even after I got someone to unlock it, the employee had to walk me to the register and hand my chosen items off to someone at the POS to pay for it. I suspect Lowes knows this and is taking precautions.
