Whaddaya mean? It's not a carry-on sized item. Rockland markets it as "checked" luggage, which is precisely how any airline would qualify and accept it.

Most luggage comes in 3 sizes: 21", 24" and 28". 28" is the normally the largest standard size for checked luggage. Maximum carry-on size is 21" luggage. 24" and 28" are always checked baggage only. Of course, the specific dimensions of various 21", 24" and 28" luggage will vary by the exact model of luggage. This particular 28" luggage is slightly small compared to other 28" luggage, as its L+W+D comes to 57", whereas many 28" luggage comes to 60". Still 28" is hardly small for checked baggage, as most checked baggage is 24". While they do make 32" luggage, it is always oversized and charged oversize luggage fees on every airline.
