Don't have allergies but do have eye redness, lines. Maybe from lack of sleep or just dry eyes in general, not sure. I've read lumify works but it's temporary and also expensive. Any recommendations? Clear eyes brand hasn't of amazon reviews but never tried it
wow so interesting. cause im allergic to olapatadine. made my eye swell into a tennis ball.
you are more likely allergic to an inactive ingredient in the medication. Very unlikely that you would be allergic to an antihistamine. its probably the preservative benzalkonium chloride.
Do you take oral antihistamines? loratidine (claritin) or any others? if you dont have any reactions to them... then it probably aint the antihistamine olopatadine.
Try ketotifen preservative free (alaway), its also an antihistamine.
I don't care too much for this drop. Pataday is a mast cell stabilizer used to keep the mast cells from releasing histamine. The problem with it is that in order for it to be effective, you need to use it for about the 30 days BEFORE you are exposed to the allergen. Then you need to keep using it all throughout the allergy season for it to remain effective. That's great for Alcon the maker of the drop. Not so great for a patient that won't have that type of compliance, not even I would. I recommend an actual antihistamine, the best one I've seen is lastacaft which used to be prescription but just went over the counter. Another poster recommended ketotiphen fumarate which was called zatidor when it was prescription. I've seen that one in Walmart in the equate brand called eye itch relief. Both of these relieve itch on contact and can be used as needed as opposed to having to be used regularly everyday to be effective. Lastacaft is a once a day drop while ketotiphen is twice a day.

Agreed, you're probably allergic to BAK as this poster said. It's probably the most common eye drop preservative and in my experience is the culprit in most allergic reactions. Use anything that comes preservative free in those twist top one time use vials to avoid preservatives

Lumify would work really well for your case and lasts up to 8 hours, so just put it in before you start your work day and by the end of the day you will look like everyone else if you stare at a computer all day. The active ingredient is a glaucoma medication and eye whiteness was a side effect. It's a drop that has been reformulated at a lower percentage and has very few negative side effects. Don't use clear eyes, that stuff is garbage and you'll become more reliant on it the more you use it because it's less effective over time and you'll be dousing your eye with irritating preservatives all day that cause redness
Already there is bottle is so small..Wondering how small there sample would be š¤
It looks like from the picture it's 0.5 ml which would equate to about 10 drops or 5 days supply. Giving someone 5 days supply of a drop that really needs to be used to 30 days to be effective isn't doing anyone any favors
