I will personally not buy any 12W power bank ever again. The newer models can deliver 60W+. I ordered a 20,000mAh 60W power bank today for $30 today. It can also charge my laptop (unlike the 12W ones), and can deliver a little over 60Wh of power in real world testing (the claimed capacity is something like 72-78Wh.) These cheap ones are only good for charging tablets and phones. They are good for that and they are cheap if that's your only use case.

Good point! That might be why these are so inexpensive.. very basic use.

I have a question..... beyond the fact that you can charge a phone faster, what is the point of having higher wattage? I understand things like the switch or laptops need high wattage, but cell phones will just take longer to charge right?

At this price I can just use these as dedicated batteries in various electronic projects. A bare 10,000 mah LiPo battery costs more than $20 with no case, charger or 5V stepup.
I've always encountered strange problems with chargers & batteries from brands that aren't recognizable and/or don't have an established reputation. For this reason, it's typically never been worth it for me to mess with questionable power products. Is AsperX a brand with a history that I'm unaware of?
For the safety of myself and my accessories, I'd rather deal with Anker's $14 no-frills 10k mAh power bank than save $5 on a gamble.
