I haven't subscribed for a while, so I did some googling. They are discontinuing cloud syncing for files, so you are only getting the 1TB for about seven months:

"Discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced files...Starting February 1, 2024, Adobe will begin discontinuation of the Creative Cloud desktop synchronization service and the folder and file sharing capabilities of Creative Cloud Synced files. Files in the Creative Cloud Files local folder will no longer be copied to cloud storage."

I was on the 20GB plan but had a few months remaining on my annual subscription. I bought this 1TB plan since its the same price as the usual discounted annual 20GB plan. The code added another overlapping plan to my account so I called Adobe Support. They cancelled the 20GB plan and refunded me the few months remaining on it. So I have a 1TB plan and hope to find another similar discounted price before the year is over. If not, I will downgrade to the 20GB plan when the 1TB plan expires. I hope this helps.

Can we save/stack these codes for multiple years? I previously purchased the Newegg deal but wouldn't mind buying again from best buy.

It sounds like they will allow you to keep the files in the Cloud Storage. But you won't be able to sync them with your local storage.

The help article isn't saying they're discontinuing the cloud storage altogether. They're no longer going to allow you to store arbitrary files there via the folder sync mechanism, so I think after that you can only use the Adobe cloud via Lightroom non-classic and Photoshop.

Careful - I think the answer is yes, but ONLY if you're on the 1TB plan already. I almost went for it, but I'm on the 20GB plan since I don't use much online storage, and I found that the Newegg listing says, "Creative Cloud Photography Plan 1TB is a different item than Creative Cloud Photography Plan 20GB. Purchasing this will NOT extend or renew Creative Cloud Photography Plan 20GB subscriptions with Adobe."

This is a great deal for a new user or someone who already uses the 1TB plan, though. The normal price is $20/mo or $240/yr, double the price of the 20GB plan.

I already hated the subcription model but this is the icing the on the cake. I like capture one. I just hate that they don't have the A.I masking that lightroom has.

I can just wait to redeem the code when my subscription comes up for renewal, correct? I have annual 20gb plan billing monthly. The year is up in October. I can let that one lapse and just redeem code at that time with my existing account, yes?

Since you're paying for it monthly, I don't think you need to wait until the year is out. You can activate it now and then cancel the other one by calling Adobe Support. You could confirm with Adobe before you purchase this just to be on the safe side.

Thank you for flagging that cloud storage is going away. How sad.

I had the Lightroom / 1TB storage plan on an annual payment plan, so it was actually wanting to charge me $15 for cancelling my plan. So, I activated the new plan with the code, and the old plan was still attached to my account. Instead of paying the $15, I got on their support chat and explained that I am not technically cancelling Adobe altogether, but just wanted to use the yearly payment code, and they were able to cancel the monthly plan for free. Pretty easy, and totally worth it for me, considering it is cheaper than my old plan of $9.99 a month, plus I get Photoshop as well.
