It looks like they cut prices on the Model X and Model X Plaid. The base Model X now sells for $79,990 while the Plaid now sells for $89,990. All color options are included too. It also seems as if it might now qualify for a tax credit.

Edit: Model S prices were slashed too.

I am sticking with the Lexus! Reliable... and best made luxury. For 80 grands Tesla is cheap and offers an inferior ride quality..0 to 60 in 3.7 secs is only one aspect but not a full experience.

If your income qualifies for the EV credit, you don't make enough to afford the car

Sis bought a 2018 X P100D brand new and just had the entire battery replaced with ~40k miles. Replacement cost was almost $22,000 but luckily covered under warranty. Build quality is trash inside out. Rattle city. My $32k Mazda is another level comparatively.

I know the suspension on the newer X (2019+) is drastically improved with the adaptive suspension..huge difference in ride quality. This has become a decent deal but could use another $12-15k drop.

Teslas have always been way overpriced and only this year have they started to come down to being OK in price with the tax credit. Spartan interior and no combo heated/cooled seats is laughable in this price range.
How did she find out battery need to be replaced?

2017 model x with EAP and free supercharging owner here. Anyone know if the previous promo allowing owners with free supercharging to receive 6 years of free supercharging with trade in and purchase of a new Tesla still exists? Also, does EAP transfer with delivery by 9/30 or just fsd?

The income cap does exist in 2024 too btw. It's just that you get the credit upfront
In 2024 the federal tax is upfront?

that's happened to american truck buyers for 20 years... at the end of each calendar year they would suddenly have 10-15k instant rebates - ten years ago most of those trucks were 50k so the buyers from that entire year had their debt:value ratio obliterated overnight
Yea, right, American trucks hold their value pretty good, Tesla was at one point due to demand, but not anymore. Also, rebates don't change msrp unlike Tesla.

And with the Chevy you can dicker about the price for hours as the salesman checks with the manager about it.
That's is your choice, I would prefer it over loosing 25k of my car value overnight.

Not at all. What was said was and is correct. Trucks tend to have massive discounts EOY, and equity is decimated.

LOL. I just recently got the Model Y and I love it. But I test drove the X as well and it drives so much smoother because of the better suspension. In the Y, you can feel every single bump on the road. Sadly I cannot afford it but good for those who can!
Heard a lot of ear pain complaints from friends with a Y, any idea if it's same with X? Thanks.
