You really have to be conscious about the type of conditions you're normally driving in.
What my research has shown is that most name brand tires still vary, but they don't perform horrible in any one category. Whereas the the budgets may and often do.
I urge you to do a bit more research just to make sure those tires perform well in the elements you drive in.
Check out consumer reports, Tyre reviews.com (European, but really great information) and just watch some reviews on Google. Get some more data points.
I was horrified to learn that some tires work great on dry, but are just outright terrible on wet roads. This could very well put you and your passengers at risk.
I would consider myself very frugal, and I would agree there are a lot of premium tires out there that are very much hype or provide very marginal differences. But just be careful. These tires are your only connection between the vehicle and the road. Just want you to be safe and save money

DT is not a service oriented shop
Most DTs dont use their Hunter force balance correctly
Tire techs are at the bottom of the labor food chain occupying the space with generic roofing labor and random landscaping dudes with blowers
Most of this is moot for steering wheel holders
For folks that actually drive, call your local Hunter rep ....they know who can use their machines correctly

I've always had amazing service at all the Discount Tire stores I've been to. Won't go anywhere else.
Discount tire promo doesn't seem to be any better.
Kumho is no Michelin, but it's not a bottom barrel no brand name either.

Sam's Club? You still can't book an online appt, even in 2023. Try calling them to schedule one. They rarely answer the phone. What happens? You put off rotations and the tires wear unevenly. No credit for you. God help ya if you go in for an unscheduled rotation. You will be there for hours.
I buy Michelin and Yokohama. I'll get ~50K miles on a set of 80K mile warranty tires. I always get a big credit when it's time for new ones. The certificates are a decent deal on very expensive tires, not so much on cheaper tires. Keep in mind you still have to pay for install and buy a new certificate on the replacement. I've had a few unrepairable (by DT) tires. When that happens, I go to the local used tire shop and they patch it for me. Then as soon as DT is recommending new tires, and they want to replace those tires, even when there is still good tread left, I let them.

I found out that my library system has free access to consumer reports online. I used this for tire research myself...
