This kit includes an 8ah charger. The chargers are around $80 themselves. At $10 an AH for batteries, the 5ah would be another $50. That leaves the tools costing roughly $35 each. I'd say that's pretty good.

It's an okay deal. You can probably pick up each of those tools for $80 or less if you wait for an individual deal, which is what I did for the oscillating tool earlier this year. Good tool, pretty versatile and can clip through nails without issue.

I agree it feels okay of a deal but I feel like we're discounting the charger and battery. I can't find the sander dcw210 for less than $100 from big name stores. Just the sander is $159 at home Depot. Have a link/reference to a better price with DeWalt warranty?

If you need a charger/battery, then this is a good deal for sure.

The orbital sander seems to go on sale pretty frequently. There was one about a month ago with charger and battery for $100:
https://slickdeals.net/f/16809563-dewalt-20v-max-sander-cordless-5-inch-2-ah-8-000-12-000-opm-variable-speed-dial-storage-bag-battery-and-charger-included-dcw210d1-multi-99-00

And then before that the sander for $75:
https://slickdeals.net/f/16764026-home-depot-has-20v-max-xr-cordless-brushless-5-in-random-orbital-sander-tool-only-for-74-37-with-tool-hack-74-37

Should be a similar story for the oscillating tool, I know I did a battery hack just like that Home Depot link this summer, and I think it came out to $80 for the bare tool. Can't seem to find the link very quickly, though.

I paid $175 for these things individually….but only have a 1.5ah battery. I'd go for this if I didn't have them. Both tools have treated me very well.

I have decided to standardize on Ridgid due to their lifetime warranty including on batteries. They are running great sales right now with free tools and batteries.

Man I see these oscillators for $50 new in box all over Facebook marketplace and OfferUp I paid $50 for mine nib 3 years ago. So I'd check your local Facebook marketplace first. This is a decent deal though, if I needed one right now I wouldn't mind paying this price

Good deal since these things run nearly $100 each, but then you get the 5 Ah battery. The multi tool is the better 3 speed one. DeWalt has a few multi tools and this is the one I would buy with both pressure sensitivity AND three adjustable speed settings

I must live a horrible resell area. I see posts like this all the time for items but when I look on facebook marketplace it is always a lot more around my area. For example I just checked FB and the cheapest i saw for a Dewalt oscillator was $75 and that was used, new was $110. I think this area is just too overrun with resellers looking to make a buck and selling high. For example I've been looking at getting a herman miller chair and see posts all the time saying FB was the best place and should be able to get them cheap. Well, almost every ad for a chair locally is from the same couple of people.

As for this Dewalt oscillator, it is a very useful tool. I think I paid around $120 for the tool and a battery 2 years ago. I wasn't sure how much I would use it but it has turned out to be one of my favorite tools behind my drill and tire inflator.

New in box tools for half price on Facebook marketplace? That's not suspicious at all.
