Check out Retro Gamer Corps recent video on new firmware options for the 35xx. Russ was able to get many N64 and Dreamcast games going on this with a newly available firmware and some tweaking. Not perfect, but it looks pretty good and will only get better. And it plays PS1 games well.

The quad core in the 35xx is finally getting unlocked vs the dual core in the Miyoo Mini.

But I hear that there's a Plus version coming with wifi.

I have both the Miyoo Mini + and the RG35XX. The MM+ wins in my house. Onion is better than Garlic in my opinion, at least for now.

Still a good price though.

I went with a mm+ with a temu coupon, but as far as actually playing games I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Onion is great, and the system is just about good enough to enable rewind, but the RG35XX will perform about the same.

Ditch the stock OS and SD card, and grab the tiny best rom sent from the Internet archive and have fun!

Got this during the Temu deal. My only complaint is it's too small to enjoy playing on, and my hands are pretty small.

Ended up spending a extra for a 405m.

Inquiring minds would like to know more. Have a preference for good/best cards to use with these types of devices? I have a ton of older cards laying around but with the current price of flash media I have no issues picking up a couple more Wink

Also, "tiny best rom from internet archive"? I'm hesitant to google and start clicking on links if you have a more direct route 😅

This has better support for PS1 games if I understand correctly, through slightly improved CPU perf. Can someone confirm?

The downside is no wifi compared to MM, although unclear how much support there is for wifi-based gaming atm.

Given this one also has HDMI perhaps us SD old timers can have an opportunity to once again say... "lack of HDMI on the MM kills the deal". LMAOLMAO

HDMI > WiFi
Also the size of this device is just right vs the Mini. In addition to the screen being better protected against drops as it has a bezel vs the Mini not really having a bezel around the screen.

Any card will be better than what they supply. Samsung is my usual go-to.
As for Tiny Best. I recommend getting at least a 128Gb SD Card for that.
Google it, it's well known, and linked to/housed on multiple sites.

I have this and MM. This feels higher quality than the MM does in my opinion. The MM buttons feel cheap in comparison.
