I have this. It works decently.

Heads up, there's no SD card slot. So if you don't pay for a subscription you at best get a 10 second clip.
There's no onboard storage to use the free playback feature like their other cameras.

A word of warning about Wyze to anyone interested.. They have agreements with LEOs all over the country to give warrantless access to anyone's video system. My rural county has had this agreement since 2019 and it's been abused on more than one occasion

No local storage makes this a non-starter for me. I appreciate the heads up and saving me the time digging through listing and potentially reviews.

I stand corrected! I assumed since the option un-greys when motion/sound event recording is on that it was possible. I've never needed them, so I never actually tried the toggles. It does go to the upgrade page.

You are correct!

Looks like the basic motion/sounds detection is all that Cam Lite gets us. I can't remember if that's all that was promised though.
No worries. It's not what they promised. They just don't care since it's a free product at this point.

Yeah, the newer cameras aren't even eligible for Cam Lite.

Yes, but V3 is no longer considered one of their newer cameras. The Wyze OG is their new lineup. Neither those nor the V3 Pros are compatible with Cam Plus Lite.

Seems that Cam Plus Lite compatibility ended with the V3s.

I've got it also. Works fine for me.
I'm not paying a subscription but the alerts and short clips work well enough to let me know when someone is at the door and see who.
It is hardwired and meant to replace a traditional doorbell button.
Can you see live view without a subscription when you're away from home, not on the wifi?
