How to make them taste like the restaurant

Put a cup and a half of cheese and cook with butter milk.

I'm fairly certain that's obvious to everyone.
And wait 10 minutes between each order of more shrimp, no thanks. Those all you can eat deals are scams, they limit how much you get at a time then take their sweet time bringing out the next plate.

Not as good as the restaurant.

Like any recipe it needs to be dialed in to your specific environment and taste. Take 5 different ovens and bake something at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. They all are going to produce different results.

Once you figure it out it's better or just as good as the restaurant.

It should be noted I am talking about the youtube video linked, I havent actually used this particular youtube video recipe, but i did originally google cheddar bay biscuit recipe like 15 years ago and went from there.
Since this is slickdeals, it's so much more slick to DIY with this. There is literally no reason to buy this unless you are lazy af.

The have the frozen, pre-made version of these at Winco grocery.

They're $4.98 for a 6-pack in the Dallas area.

I have never seen these before but seems awful expensive for 12 biscuits that you have to cook yourself plus the price of the other ingredients (mostly cheese I guess).

There's a gluten free version of these now and they're just as good! But not as cheap.

It wasn't super obvious from any of the marketing language until I did a deep dive, but it's 12 _boxes_ of biscuit mix

Or just go to Red Lobster and feast on that amazing $20 unlimited shrimp deal. You get three flavors at a time + two sides and unlimited biscuits too.

Imagine being on a deal site and not being able to come to the logical conclusion before posting that the price was not for only one box of 12 biscuits.

For the other rocket surgeons out there, it's 12 boxes of mix. Yes, you have to add other stuff (butter, cheese, and water).

Normally I would agree, but went that recently at the request of the kids and they were actually bringing out the next order almost right after the previous one. It was impressive.

Still not a huge fan of their food, but the $20 deal seemed worth it.

While agreed that these are not quite as good as the fresh you get from Red Lobster, for the price they are - we pay $2.58 per box at Walmart, they will suffice. Drive to closest Red Lobster is an hour, plus food for four people. This is a great price.
We enjoy the ease of making these as they are drop biscuits. We always use mature cheddar and lots of salted butter on them.
