I have this growler it's great, if you use it daily, the hinge most likely will crack but doesn't lose its main purpose, just don't lose your lid without the hinge.

These are great for road trip water storage since they don't get too hot in the sun, and they are small enough it's easy to refill places. I have two.

Ahh that stinks but good to know ahead of time! Some plastics don't always hold up well over time. I have a couple bigger bottles that had similar fates.

I really need an 1/2 gal EDC. My Manna Titan 135oz is a bit bulky outside of work (GF's confused how I even drink out of that monster when full 😄) Does it look possible to unscrew/fully remove that top & replace it w/ something like their autoseal lid, or another 3rd party top?

For all I know, it could be a good one. But I'm guessing its insulation is not as good for that price, but hopefully it works out great for you.
