Very similarly. Both are only single lead, not 12 lead. Both can detect fast, irregular, atrial fibrillation, or normal rate. Apple watch has the ability for "continuous" detection (monitors every 5 minutes, but uses more power). Not sure if that is a feature in older apple watches (series 4-7). Kardia, you'd have to whip out every time you feel something and connect to a smartphone. You can probably skip this if you already have apple watch.

Our child's heart surgeon from the Mayo recommended these to us in 2020 and they were much more expensive then! He said it was great to have around for peace of mind because they work pretty well for a home machine.

The 6 lead version is on sale for $129 at Amazon, Target, and others…but $199 at Costco. 🤷🏻

I recently bought 6l from Optum store.
129, but with SHOP10 coupon code to reduce 10%.

If you already have their HSA or FSA card, then it is not bad.

And you can do 6-leads with Apple Watch too by positioning it on certain points of you body - you can google it.

6 SIMULTANEOUS leads or place in 6 positions sequentially? Ideally you want simultaneous tracings
