The general idea is you return the batteries and the ratchet ends up being only $110. Otherwise it's $249 for a ratchet and two batteries which, sure they're HO but quite a few people like me have their fill of batteries and just need want tool on the cheap.

I'm really wanting the extended reach version of this, but I know it will likely be '10 days past forever' before they have a similar deal on that one.
None of the Milwaukee outlets budge on the extended reach prices.

I just got the non fuel version with the installation tool bundle. Came out to like $83. Any reason to hack this and return the other (YouTube mechanic and diy'er)? I see they're both 35 ft/lbs torque but this has a higher rpm. Looks this this *might have a tiny longer reach from the pics.

My thoughts process is that if you are using it pretty regular, then always go fuel (brushless, and generally more power, longer lasting). If you are just a typical homeowner/diy fixer then it's not a huge deal, but I still would always go for the fuel model if it's competitive pricing. Just my 2 cents.

When I remove the batteries from my cart, the rachet goes back to $199.00. Is it suppose to stay at $110? If I purchase and return at the store, will the rachet stay at $110 or go back up to $199. Thanks for your help. Never tried these hacks before.

You have to buy them both and either return the batteries or order them with pick up from 2 different stores and never pick up the batteries.

Been waiting for this deal. Thanks OP. It makes you choose same pick up method for both items but one of them is ready today and the batteries have to be shipped. So I'll pick up the ratchet after work and THEN cancel the batteries. Now just need a deal on the hatchet and and chainsaw and I'm done.

Yeah, I'm wondering what the youth case for one of these is?
