I can still buy it as a one time purchase, but no longer subscribable.
I see it's back in stock for me too. I'll move it back to Hot Deals. Thanks!
Going in and out of stock it seems. Able to subscribe too. When I placed an order it says delivery end of September so will definitely be out of stock soon.
They are literally sold BY Amazon. It is not even the only Kirkland item they sell. They sell coffee, plates, and other items. No offense but you have no idea what you are talking about.

But here is how it works, if you are interested.
Costco sells from their warehouse. They don't sell directly to Amazon (like Nike or Samsung or any other million brands do).
To be honest, it is extremely odd that Amazon (rather than a reseller) is selling Kirkland Signature products.
If it is sold by "Amazon", it is because someone from Amazon is driving to Costco (or more likely getting it delivered in huge quantities to an Amazon warehouse) and reselling it. Amazon is not an authorized reseller or distributer of Costco's Kirkland Signature products. Costco does not have a relationship with Amazon at all.
It isn't illegal, but it isn't the same relationship they have with many other food companies. Think of it this way. The corner bodega sells Kirkland Signature canned chicken breast. They go to Costco, pick it up, and then put it on their shelves. Think of it it like that, just on a much more massive scale.

Yes the wealthiest retail company in the world is taking chicken off the shelves of Costcos and reselling them. Hey you know what, believe what you want. It is all good. I'm just going to enjoy my chicken.
