Patiently waiting for their better trade in deals...I realized I only paid $99 for the s7+ to s8+ upgrade which was a good deal to me...paying $500 for the s9+ trade in is just meh.

How is outdoor visibility, not in direct sunlight but against a bright backdrop like beach, pool, soccer field, etc.. Do these go by the nits like laptops, I got 400 IPS on ThinkPad, it gets washed out.

Agree.. those Sammy sales were epic. I paid $99 for S9, but of course I trade in s8 ultra because I just wasn't using it because of the size. Loved it, but having s9 for few weeks, I'm actually using it everyday, many times a day. Took time to adjust to size difference but no regrets. Got the S8 ultra at launch and paid 200+ so fair enough

Shockingly much faster boot times is the biggest surprise. Haven't measured it formally but at least 50% faster, and maybe even 75%.

Similar to s23 ultra, there is just NO hiccups or waiting milliseconds for anything.

I only 'uograded' because s8 ultra was too big for my use
