Patiently waiting for their better trade in deals...I realized I only paid $99 for the s7+ to s8+ upgrade which was a good deal to me...paying $500 for the s9+ trade in is just meh.

from a functional standpoint there isn't a huge difference other than the IP rating. The new screen is nice, but you wouldn't really know the difference unless you had an oled next toi it.

If you treat it as a new round of software updates in addition to the hardware upgrades, it's not so bad.

I can confirm that when I'm logged into my edu samsung account it does give the discount for the free keyboard. I had to add the S9 tablet to my cart, then search for the "Tab S9 Keyboard Slim", add that to cart and it showed $0.

I also did a quick chat with a samsung rep to see if my old LG Optimus Exceed did indeed qualify for the $200 trade in and the person said yes, and quoted "It should be like how you see it in the cart/checkout". I also asked for a promo code and they gave: 5W7JZC9FOF but that did not work since I was under my EDU. So for anyone who doesn't use a EDU, they can try the code above which I believe takes another 5% off. I haven't chosen whether to place an order or not. It's $612 for me after tax.

Curious, Was yours a EPP purchase? I bought mine today and the keyboard wasn't free until I logged into the EPP site. Once logged into the site the keyboard was free.

Upon thinking about this some more it only seems like a good deal because the retail price is so high.

Ill pass, aint paying so much for a tablet.

$360 for the S9 and keyboard after trading in a iPad Pro 12.9 2nd generation ($350 trade in value). Used the shop and got 25$ off 1st order and they lowered the price a bit more once I was checking out (not sure why) plus EPP discount. My iPad was getting really slow so it's a good time to upgrade. Probably not the best deal ever, but not too bad.

If you use the Samsung SHOP app, with EPP, $200 android phone trade in, free keyboard cover will come out to $562.99 + tax. But if you scroll down in your cart, it will pop up a message, "today is your lucky day" and it will take another $50 off. Comes out to $512.99 + tax.
