This is terrible quality compared to the 20 gauge pro series version that were on sale for $132 over the labor weekend.

wtf does "ready to assemble" even mean. The only stage before that would be stamping out your own sheet metal to make this cabinet.

Anyways, I had the Husky full height floor cabinet. I don't know all the differences between steel gauges, but I guess this is a thicker gauge so I was surprised to see that my full height cabinet still kinda twisted and wobbled under it's own weight.

I imagine a shorter height would alleviate this issue on these size cabinets. Overall it was fine, but nothing to write home about. I guess I expected these to be as rigid as a standard wood cabinet, but just metal, but they're not.

I've had a lot of various storage setups over the years, and for a cabinet like this, I prefer one with drawers instead of doors, on heavy duty, locking casters. For automotive work in particular, it's much better if I can wheel the cart right next to the car so I have a work top and access to sockets and wrenches in the drawers. It's much better to do car work with a cart than to lay your tools in the engine bay, where they can fall.

You're right. I was just trying to say that this isn't the greatest garage storage. I got much more use of of cabinets with drawers than doors.
