Nice. Gonna give that a try. Already have to run iCUE for all the lighting in the gaming PC, might as well have a keyboard that it controls too. Hopefully not having directional keys won't bother me. It's a gaming only setup so WASD and surrounding keys should be all that's needed.

I bought this keyboard about 11 months ago for the same price, except it was the Cherry MX Silent switches instead of the Speeed ones in this deal.

Amazing keyboard for the money. Very solid, compact, has really nice doubleshot PBT keycaps, and types like a dream. It is a bit heavy for how small it is but that's a good thing because it won't move when you type.

The only negative thing about this keyboard is the UBS-C can disconnect if the cable is pulled out even slightly. Not a big deal if you don't move your keyboard around often. Oh, and of course if you must have arrow keys or a numpad, this keyboard isn't for you.

Not having the f keys messed me up on one game and it made we switch it out. Great keyboard though, got it for 45$ refurb from Corsair it was basically new.

every time I see the words "Mechanical Keyboard" my hand starts itching and moving the mouse towards the upvote icon.

I am not saying anything about this particular product, or whether the price is good, but EVERYONE MUST HAVE A MECHANICAL KEYBOARD!!!!!!!

Mini keyboards are a bit too condensed for my liking. I can live without the numpad but not having arrow keys or relying on FN is not easy for me.

Can someone please explain to this dumb senior citizen why you need half a dozen different colored lights on your keyboard? Just one color works fine for me.

Just because it looks cool to some? You could certainly set it to one color, and since it's RGB, it could be set to a single color of your choice. So say at night you might want RED full color but during the day you might want white.

And with RGB you can do patterns of different colors.

Plus as everyone knows the main reason. RGB increases your FPS.

Same. I have the tenkeyless version of this and I absolutely love it. This footprint gives up too much.

Why did people "need" rear window louvers on 1978 Camaros, or jeans that flared out on the bottom of the legs (bell bottoms)?

Answer: they didn't.

Looks. Always just for looks.

RGB anything is at least more functional. But yea, just for looks.
Though I will say, some folks set up their keyboard keys to light specific colors to indicate programmed macros or highlight specific shortcut keys in an application. Imagine a Photoshop profile for example where all the shortcut keys that a person uses most are lit up blue but the rest of the keyboard keys are lit white. Or not lit at all. Makes locating those frequently used keys that much easier.

this is just for the kidz, so that it looks cool
you don't need to look at the keyboard, ever. Learn to touch type with 10 fingers.

Picked up a Razer huntsman mini (clicky optical switches), is the k65 an actual mechanical keyboard?

I already have some corsair lighting so wondering if I should switch to the k65.
