I bought the previous deal in Late Aug. Just tried to activate and all the phone has NO service plan. Now Im getting the customer service BS when I call tracfone that tracfone and tracfone ebay are different. Tracfone ebay not even responding to my ebay messages.
Please check the previous thread. Lots of people are dealing with this issue.
Or if you do order, activate soon in case you need to file a return.

Great deal! Good for harvesting the airtime and service or giving to an elderly family member who barely uses phones. In reference to another post about "topping off service" make sure to screen shot your balance BEFORE migrating another Tracfone's service over to this. I had a horrible experience where my service was lost and I had to fight customer service to get my services back.

it says usb type b in the manual. I was trying to find out what kind of charging cable it uses too. No added sim cards they are preloaded . But to me it sounded like they esim but I don't think these have esim.

Can the sim be used on an unlocked compatible phone? If so, by using the tracphone sim will it "lock" the unlocked phone to tracphone? Tia!

If the phone is not new out of box and has been used elsewhere, I don't *think* you need to worry about any chance of it being locked... Also, I think that might be more of an iPhone thing, but probably happens for some androids too..

If it is not eSIM then phone must have a traditional SIM card slot.

I am sure that a SIM card (if provided) would be preloaded into the phone. The card and the phone's IMEI would be tied together, thus forcing us to activate them together.

After activation some of us would want to move the SIM card to another phone.
