WSJ Online is free through many libraries. Have been reading it for free, from the comfort of my home or at work for $0.00 for years now.

You're gonna drive to the library every day to save 7 cents a day?
not everyone has to drive to the library. the nearest branch to me is a 15-minute walk from my front door, or less than 5 minutes if i bike there

You can get 1000 chase points if you go thru the chase shopping portal to sign up. Terms say you have to keep the subscription active for 45 days. Pretty good value for earning some chase points.

Also, they now have a chat bot that you can cancel your subscription with instead of having to call.

Btw WSJ is part of Apple News+ but presentation of articles is crappy and the time articles appear is much later than in WSJ itself. Even though I had promotional 3 months of News+ from Apple I signed up for WSJ with Barron's and Marketwatch. It is only $4 a month.
Except that Apple News+ gives access to many more paid editions besides WSJ. It has an amazing presentation on my Mac but ok to each their own.

Also Apple News+ is part of Apple One. So for $30/mo I give access to 6 people to apple music, apple news+, fitness, icloud, and more. Much better than any wsj stand alone promotion.

Pretty sad that the Amex Platinum swapped out Audible for this junk.
Just noticed that. When did that happen? Guess it time to cancel. Thanks for the heads up.

1Audible (www.audible.com) is also a participating partner, through October 1, 2023.

I've been getting both the print and digital version for $160 or so for the last 3 years at www.wsjrenew.com (third party seller)

Only a small portion of WSJ content is made available to Apple News+.

Having been a reader of this publication for about two years, I am on the path of not reading this anymore. The name "Wall Street Journal" seems to imply that it'd have news primarily focused on the market, stocks, economy, etc. But more and more, it's becoming a publication that keeps on posting non-sense politics. Now its primary contents are all about politics instead of what it was meant to be, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone seeking financial related contents. It's becoming yet another political propaganda machine like what all mainstream media had become. Journalism is dead in America.

Lol. It's called being permanently logged into the WSJ app with a library credential.
Hmmm ... does that also work for New York Times?

The library around here gives 72-hour passes. Every 3-days, login to the library site, get a free pass and read. It takes about 30 seconds every 3-days.

It does at our library, both WSJ and NYT times are free.
