WSJ Online is free through many libraries. Have been reading it for free, from the comfort of my home or at work for $0.00 for years now.

The great thing about Tiktok is that even if someone is lying, there are a hundred more people with their own videos who can verify whether something happened or not, and that happened with the Burning Man fiasco last week. Plus people often just post clips of what they've seen. Not much debate for what's going on when you see that. If something is sus, someone can immediately point it out in the comments.
And a million more people doing stupid dance moves.

Thanks for telling me what you're really looking at on Tiktok...
Actually, I have never personally been on Tiktok and never will. But people insist on showing me all of the stupid stuff on there.

It does at our library, both WSJ and NYT times are free.
Sure enough, my library has 3-day codes for NYT. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.

Not for the Wall Street Journal, but for the New York Times, since it's been mentioned several times, I've had to negotiate the price via online chat with NYT customer service with 3-4 rounds of threatening to cancel because I'm not willing to pay more, but I get their basic tier called "News" for $1/week, billed monthly, with the rate locked for one year. They also have a higher tier called "All Access" which I guess includes unlimited crosswords and games, Wire Cutter, The Athletic and Cooking. I'm not sure what regular full priced rack rate is for All Access, but the basic tier "News" is regularly $17-20/month. As with all things, don't forget to set your calendar reminders so all of a sudden you're not being charged 20 bucks a month!

Pretty sad that the Amex Platinum swapped out Audible for this junk.
Junk? Just wow! WSJ best paper in the US and well worth what they normally charge. Glad Amex did that.

Lol. It's called being permanently logged into the WSJ app with a library credential.
Can you log in to the WSJ app with the library credentials? I prefer reading it on my phone app than on the website...

I can never get 12ft.io to work on the WSJ. I'll check out that GitHub link though

Does this include access to marketwatch.com?

I don't think you get access to the sister news companies by signing up with Apple News.
