To everyone asking which one is better between XS and Ananda Stealth, I have both.

They are both amazing headphones. Both offer mind blowing Soundstage, clarity and bass (for an open back). Anandas are a little bit more higher frenquency focused and the XS have a little better bass response. Other than that, sound quality is really good on both and you can barely tell the difference. For gaming, the Anandas are superior since they are easier to drive with the ps5 controller (although I use Qudelix amp/dac plugged to the console and it sounds way better.)

The real big difference is comfort and build quality which the Ananda wins by a pretty big margin. I pick up more my Anandas just because of that. Comfort in headphones is something that alot of people take for granted, but using a headphone for 2-6 hours straight, really plays a big role.

At this price, the Anandas are the superior end game headphones for the price. I wouldn't think it twice..

Bought a used Ananda from eBay for $273 shipped. Will compare it against Sundara, which I think sounds great. Using Monoprice THX AAA amp (another good deal from SD few months ago).

I paid 1k for these a few years back. Great set love it. Build quality is hifiman so not great but sound quality is awesome. Get these.

Its not even a fair fight on all fronts. Like I stated above, I have both, and a don't even touch the 6XX's anymore (but hesitate to sell them). The opening is larger, the clamp space is lighter, the pad is deeper, the sound is cleaner, the sub bass is present and the highs are nice and bright but tamed (not like my DT-880's). It's arguably a better headphone in all metrics.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a sidegrade. I've always been a speaker person all my life, and never been too impressed with any of the headphones I've owned (HD6XX, HD800, among others.) The "Sennheiser veil" that people talk about all the time is something I can attest to. So I've been looking for something with better clarity but still natural sounding (I listen to all genres of music.) The only Hifiman's I've owned are cheap in-ear buds many years ago, and they were pretty good for the money.

Decided to give these a try. I've been considering the XS and these, but at this price, they're worth a shot.

My other high end pair are the Focal Clear OG, which I love, but which are a little too heavy for me. (Anything above 400g starts becoming bothersome to me after a bit.) If the Amanda's are good, I may sell the Clears.

Anyone have experience with both the Clear and the Anandas?

For anyone that bought these from Amazon, are yours coming directly from China? I'm not surprised at all that they're manufactured there, nor do I really care, but I will confess I'm kind of worried about knockoffs. I would have expected Hifiman to provide stock to Amazon, versus it coming directly from (what I assume is) the factory?

I realize this is probably a dumb question, but this is my first time seeing this (especially for a higher-ish ticket item), and just has me a little concerned. Thanks!

Ordered from Amazon. Came from somewhere in the US but the box had all the China customs stuff on it

Yeah mine are coming from China too. I wasn't really worried about it since they're a Chinese company. My set is supposed to be here tomorrow
