This would have been awesome if I hadn't already taken advantage of the last slick deal for the Cuisinart Stainless Steel Manual Espresso Maker from buydig that was at $70 though although this maker is way better lol 😂

The negative reviews are pretty bad. If you do buy this I wouldn't expect any service or warranty. They probably went belly up and are liquidating inventory.

Cafe appliances are General Electric's higher end line. This product seems to only have a one year warranty though, if not purchased directly from GE.

I use mine daily and it suits my needs well. As someone who wants espresso with the effort of drip (maybe even less as I have to use a grinder for the drip machine), I've been happy and found it reliable. If the morning brew ritual and satisfaction in crafting your cup is important, you may want to look elsewhere.

I thought I had a slick deal when I bought this for 500 on Black Friday 2022. I've been very happy with it. I use it daily for a double latte and sometimes an Americano.

My only complaint is the amount of grounds that are wasted with the automatic measuring. The espresso tastes great and it's just so convenient.

But truthfully I bought it for the look to match the rest of our Café Appliances

The internals of this machine are used by many brands. The ones I know of are GE Cafe, Tchibo and Smeg. They usually have the buttons on the top front, a square bean hopper/grinder in the front behind the buttons, and a water tank on the top back (somewhat inconvenient to remove when unit is kept under a cabinet). The brew unit is much more compact and easier to clean than the brew units in the Philips and Saeco's. I've owned both the Philips and the Tchibo. I did not have any issues with the Tchibo for the year or so that I used it, but others have.

I got this a few years ago and use it multiple times a day. The coffee tastes very good for my taste. As far as I'm concerned it has more than paid for itself by not going to the coffee shop. Only complaint (not big enough that I wouldn't recommend)- the grinds can get moldy if I don't empty them within a few days.

The Tchibo machine I've had for 2.5 years is very similar. Love the coffee and I drink a lot. At this price it's a great deal
