This seems to be a much more compact & powerful version than the regular impact driver

Yes it is. I have the regular and atomic, I go for the atomic all the time. Great for tight spaces and you have more control being closer to the bit/drill end. It does seam less powerful, but unless your doing a TikTok video, who cares if it takes a 2 more seconds. If I really need high power, then I pull out something corded anyways. Small lightweight is nice for 99% of the time.

It's lighter, too.

My FIL has been on Team Dewalt for decades and still buys repacked nicad for some of his tools. He's getting older and I noticed they're getting harder for him to use. So last Christmas I got him the Atomic drill and driver kit and some of the LiON battery packs for them. He told me the tools are way easier to use, being smaller and lighter. The guy loves fixing up buildings for people in need and I'm glad he will be getting a few more years of his hobby with the Atomic line.

I think this has the same specs as their normal top of the line impact. This, the new drywall gun, new cutout tool, and their power stack batteries have been winners.

how do you add the "free starter kit" to the cart so that it shows the 150 price? Adding them each individually seems to add both prices together ($308)?
