Ultraboost is more for casual walking. 4d for running or jogging. Also 4d is heavier.

I can confirm that those reviews are true. I bought a pair in Jan 2023 and holes in the toe box started forming in 3 months. I wore them every other day, did a few 2-Mile runs, and even wore them hiking a handful of times on several weekends.

Adidas warrants their products up to 6 months. Even though I bought the shoes from Dick's Sporting Goods, I was able to start a claim with Adidas. I started by filling out an online form and submitting photos. Then someone from CS reached out via email and eventually provided a shipping label. After some time, they gave me the value I paid (not including tax).

At $56+tax, it's about half of what I paid for them in January. The shoes are very comfortable and lighter than their 1st gen 4D soles. For all the use I put on these shoes, I never had any issues with junk getting stuck in the soles. On the other hand, I threw them in the wash shortly after each hike.

If you're on the fence, $56+tax is a phenomenal price for 4D shoes.

Have these for running. Fantastic shoe. Super comfortable. I just picked up another pair for when it's time to replace.

A lot of complaints about dirt and tiny rocks getting into the sole. Overtime, they might clog up and diminish the bounciness of that 3d printed sole?

I use my exclusively for tarmac/pavement running, no issues yet. But, I definitely see that as a potential issue if you want to use these for trail or casual.

They are my goto gym shoes. For the treadmill and indoor track these are great. I had the white prior now getting the black.

Anyone have experience with how these hold up? Besides rocks in the sole, some reviews say the fabric is weak and your toes break through within months. Can anyone confirm?
