This album was amazing for me because it brought together two of my favorite artists from different worlds. Marty Friedman was my favorite guitarist, but was known for his instrumental work with Shrapnel and his Cacophony albums with Jason Becker. The idea of Marty playing with Megadeth seemed so unlikely yet so perfect, and this album was proof that it could work.

Now Megadeth has Dirk Verbeuren, from one of my favorite (but largely unknown in the US) bands, Scarve, on drums. It's amazing how Dave manages to pull the talent.

My favorite album is So Good, So Far...So What. Liar, Hook In Mouth, MaryJane, and Into the Lungs of Hell are just masterpieces. Agree, Metallica doesn't come close!
