The reviews claiming it randomly makes noises are only partially correct. It alerts people if they are unknowingly being tracked by playing a melody if it detects it's been traveling with someone not its registered owner. It will only do this once in a while and when moved initially. If I had to guess maybe once or twice a day. The reviews saying it makes noise are people not realizing they have two phones and one is not registered or they are married and traveled the whole day with their wife.
It works with both apple find my device and Android via the eufy app. You can set it up on more than one phone at the same time. I have both setup.
It is a battery drain on an android device. It accesses the device location every few mins while in motion. They need to fix this via software update somehow. In my experience airtags and this device also use up a significant amount of battery via the apple find my device app on my iPhone so it might just be inherent to Bluetooth trackers.
The battery on the tracker itself lasts for years. Mine is still at 100%.
It's slimmer than an airtag and fits much better in a wallet.
Pushing the button twice will locate your phone. Pushing play sound on the app will locate your tracker. The sound is fairly loud for its size.
I purchased it previously for around this price.

Larger trackers will be on the market soon that don't have that requirement because they're too large to hide on someone without them knowing.
China is already a scary place in the way it tracks its citizens and if they post something on social media the ccp doesn't like they get a visit at 2am and that person is not heard from for months (or never again).
If you don't think this can or will be coming to the USA you're very disillusioned.
