I think PC might be the way to play this. Been playing it on series X and it's great, but I absolutely hate the menu navigation. I think a mouse would fix my complaints, but damn, it's bad. Also world/local map system is so clunky and unintuitive
I mean, I'm playing on PC, but I'm also using my Xbox controller but I suppose that defeats the purpose in your eyes. This is the first Bethesda game I've played on PC (due to the buyout of course), but I've found every previous of their titles worked just fine with controller.
Will agree on the menus, though. They're a slog to get through. I miss my Pipboy and the Settings menu utilizing 2 different buttons.

Before anyone gets all offensive, I've been a Bethesda fan since Daggerfall. I love just about everything they put out and feel they make the best RPGs. That said, they really did a bad job with space travel in this. Cutscenes for lift/take off and you pretty much have to fast travel everywhere. Otherwise its a really fun game with tons of stuff to explore. Someone twitch streamed flying straight into Pluto. It took seven hours and it ended up being hollow on the inside. No Man's Sky did a much better job with this.

Since I have a million years of game pass, I think I'll wait, but I do want to get the Steam version so I can use mods.
It's included with Game Pass Ultimate PC pass (download with the Xbox app on PC) and you can already manually mod the game using Nexus and other mod sites.

Remember there are a lot of buttons on the keyboard (to increase making a mistake). I cant count how many times to tossed a grenade with friendly NPC around, or got off my pilot seat during a dogfight.

All their RPGs are the same at its core, just different theme and setting

I have around 30 hours in so far and am enjoying it. Just installed some mods and it's even better, at least for me.
