According to Amazon reviews, this adapter uses 8812BU (rtl88x2bu) drivers and therefore should work for wireless as well as support monitor mode and packet injection in Linux.
Super shilled brand here on Slickdeals, but I've bought a cable from Ugreen before they "expanded" to Amazon and started paying off SD staff to likely build their US brand recognition. I found a Reddit post about how Ugreen and Baseus were the only respectable cable and computer accessories brands on AliExpress so I took a chance. All the things I've gotten have worked well so far (USB A to A cable from a long time ago, USB C to lightning cable, and Bluetooth 5.0 adapter). Keep in mind this company has zero support so you're screwed after your 30 day return period ends. Luckily, I haven't had anything go bad and I'm not buying anything expensive from them.

In my opinion, I don't get the paranoia surrounding this brand and SD shilling. The same nonsense was going on back when other companies like Anker, Aukey, RavPower were trying to get sales. Did people seriously think there were some special promo codes that just so happened to find themselves on SD without any payoffs or other shenanigans going on? Where was the backlash back then over that?

I hear all the wannabe experts on Slickdeals act like they know everything when they say these items are shill deals and aren't worth trying (even though you can return them through Amazon...). These same idiots probably convinced countless people not to sign up for things like Windscribe lifetime deals or buying super cheap items that were likely paid off posts. Who cares about the "integrity" of deals? Do 5 minutes of research on brands and figure out what's trash and what's not.
Not a chance. What you need is a wifi bridge aka gaming adapter to allow wifi connection via network port on the printer. I used a Linksys WET610N for years for the same problem as well as a few others (my fave was testing VPN at a company where the corporate wifi connects automatically when in range- I would disable wifi and then connect to my phone hotspot via the wifi bridge connected to the laptop ethernet port). As long as you still have a 2.4GHZ wifi network available, one of those used is like $15. A USB wifi adapter would never work since it is a "host" device and the printer would have to have native support for it.

does anyone know if any of these can be used with MF4770n printer?
the printer does not have a wifi built in, but it has a USB port,
so is it possible to preconfigure any of these devices through a pc,
and connect to a printer imitating a direct USB connection?
