Be sure to test out the wattage and total power output if you buy one of these. I had this exact model and it was woefully under spec for both.

Just adding my experience. Purchased this and it was DOA. Customer service rezched out to me upon my Amazon return and provided a replacement despite me getting a refund already. Thought that was great. Turns out second device was also DOA 😂 can't make that up.

Customer service was really great and proactive but worth noting I did have significant issues with getting a working unit. Obvious YMMV. Commenting to indicate that they take customer service seriously

It's at this price fairly regularly, though it's a good price for it in my opinion. I've gotten two and they've worked well for me.

Something a lot of people don't realize is that different PD chargers have different voltage+amperage configurations they support, so they can't all charge the same things optimally. For example, I have a 100w Monoprice charger that jumps from 45W (15V*3A) to 100W (20V*5A) so it actually can't charge this 65W power bank at max speed and I have to use a different charger for it.

What I like about this power bank is that it actually tells you the voltage and amperage it's outputting/inputting at so you can easily tell (via multiplication) if you're charging it/the other device optimally.

Not only are Anker chargers more expensive per watt— you have to get the Anker 737 power bank to get that same feature, and that one runs at $150 (gets as low as $100 sometimes, is currently at $110). The 737 charges up to 140W and has 4000mAh more capacity, but unless you need 140W worth of charging power at once, this Baseus is a much, much better value.

Before paying a premium for higher USB-PD wattage, I advise people to test charging high-powered USB-PD devices with a wattage lower than the charger that came with it. And test with the device powered on and off. For example, a device with an all-day battery may get fully recharged overnight with just 15 watts.

Can someone help answer this question? I have another 15,000mah battery bank that outputs 45watts using usb-c and 22watts with the usb-a port. I noticed that when charging my Switch that it takes over 50% of the power bank when using the 65watt port but only 34% using the 22watt port. Why is that?

had this for a few years now. charging speed is good but capacity is definitely not 20,000mAh. closer to 10,000mAh than 20,000mAh.

A lot lower charging speed though. Not sure it would keep up with charging a MacBook while in use.

Probably some sort of inefficiency. Do you notice the battery bank and your switch being warmer at 45w vs 22w? If so, that heat is energy being wasted.

Edit: If I charge my s22 at the "Super fast charging" rate of 45w it gets noticeably warmer than when charged slower even if for the same amount of mah.

Fyi I have used this for over a year now and it is great value for the money. I wanted something that would charge my steam deck and switch fast when traveling and this fits the bill.

I also bought cases to see what would fit the battery plus a usb c cable for my travels and this one worked the best without adding much extra bulk:

I have the larger capacity version and it was 100% on spec, I was actually drawing 68w from PD3 how exactly did you test it?

I use this battery pack with my cpap machine, and it works great, easily get 2 nights out of it. I bought a USB C --> USB PD 20v cigarette/car lighter socket adapter and I just throw my cigarette/car charger adapter for my cpap into that adapter and I'm off to bed. Already came in handy due to some windy stormy nights knocking out power for a few hours.

While not the largest battery bank I own, it certainly is versatile in that I can full charge it in about 2 hours with my Samsung 45w charger or my usb pd car charger if the power is still out. My old anker 26000 mah can only charge via 2x micro usb and takes like 10-12 hours to charge to full.
Smart idea, but I had to comment about 20v adapter. Maybe you meant 20w? Because the cars native voltage is 12v so nothing plugging into one would be 20v without getting fried lol.

+1 Avoid this brand. I've tried two banks from this brand and both were <30% of claimed capacity.
I have tested just one, but it was exactly right for capacity. How did you do your testing, what voltage? etc.

Native 3.7v cells are what are rated for capacity, in all these power banks no matter the brand. You have to do an efficiency lost equation based on testing parameters with the voltage conversion.

About 10-15% loss at 5V I got exactly the correct capacity when I tested.

You have to uncheck the 20% off and enter the XFHCB7E5 promo code IIRC

This is popular because it's a reasonably sized battery that can charge all of your devices at a cost that's less than half of everyone else's comparable offering.

I bought one of these, and it's worked flawlessly thus far.
