Looks like Amazon's restocked on these a bit, as now delivery is in late Sept. (as opposed to late Sept./early Oct.) Smilie Still a slick deal at $12.53 for 24 bars.

Dangerous to have around because they taste so damn good. Want to buy again but I went through the last pack way too fast.

My concern if they will be fresh or expired? Too often Amazon food like protein or granola bars that are on sale/discounted....are old .

I like to offer a variety of full-size candy bars for Halloween, but also try to average .50 per piece. These fit the bill and will be good for the kids who don't want chocolate everything. Thank you!

So these have been "50% off" for like 6 months now on Amazon which is very suspicious to begin with. I bought a few cases of these. Most of them were good but occasionally you will get a bar with what I would describe as a "bad peanut" on it that ruins the whole bar. If you've ever eaten a bad nut you know what I mean.

I'm wondering if Payday had an enormous run of product with "bad nuts" that they dumped to Amazon for next to nothing and they keep selling because most of the bars are fine it's only like 1/5th of the box contents effected. IMO this isn't worth the discount and ruins the whole experience. I have 2 unopened cases sitting on a shelf because of the bad nut fear.

I've noticed this too. Been through a few boxes ever since they've been consistently around the $12 price (usually have one after the gym to supplement my other mediocre tasting protein sources), and had a noticeable number of bars with that off rancid and/or burnt peanut taste. Can't complain, want a cheaper product, expect lower quality.
