Enough iphone 15 will be available in US, Chinese not buying due to Mate X5 and Mate 60 pro. No wonder pro price kept at $999 instead $1199. Just wait a little many offers will come.

I cannot stress this enough. This is not worth it. Their customer service is *abysmal*. If you have ANY issues, be prepared for weeks of calls talking to people who speak words, but don't understand anything you're saying.

I actually called in to cancel my mobile service because it would not let me do it online and they could not successfully port any numbers I was trying to bring after 3 weeks. They cancelled my INTERNET, and left my mobile active, even after I specifically said "I want to be clear, I do NOT want to cancel my internet services." and verbally confirmed that with them twice. It was an absolute joke.

Most likely it will be same as apple, you'll need iphone 14 pro max 1tb to get full $830 back else get $100-$200 back

Xfinity mobile has WiFi calling capability which includes SMS capability via WiFi. This means she should be able to keep her number for calling or texting as long as she has internet or WiFi.

I've used it for my international trips previously. However, she may need to reboot her phone every now and then to get the SMS working again - I had to do that for some reasons.
I was the person asking about my daughter being able to use her Iphone 12 on XM in France. Just to clarify are you saying she could use her phone as is for calling or texting as long as she has internet or wifi in France (and without paying the $10 per day fee)? If so that might work but I know she's going to be traveling around France quite a bit during her trip and I have no idea what the cell service is like over there.

black friday usually has better offers for trade in. I would wait a couple months. its not like these are breakthrough phones or anything that will get sold out. I will hold on to my 13 pro max till i find a better deal.
I totally agree. Will do the same. Love my 13 Pro Max.

I don't think lock status matters. I'm also tempted to get a g-play on ebay but worried if it will be accepted by xfinity.

I think Xfinity also has the phone for 99, will they reject a phone from themselves?

Anyway,I will be the guinea pig and get one from Amazon . Worst case, I just return the phone to Amazon.

There is high chance they will reject their own device. They rejected a fully paid xfinity phone for BYOD offer in the past.

Well, I guess they want something that's not on their network for the BYOD deal. For trade in, I don't see why they won't accept their own device that has been paid off. But it will take longer and the hassle to get it unlocked. Amazon might be a lot quicker and I can do the trade-in imei check online without even opening the box.

nothing beats whatsapp with it's ability to send 16MB high rez vids (usually 90 seconds max) or stills. If compressed, one can go up to 100MB. Works on apple and android.

I read Apple sets a limit of 25MB and heavily compressed. I need to try sending a large file again with my iphone as the last time was over 3 years ago. https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/79813

iPhone to iPhone via iMessage doesn't compress if it's under 100mb.

How picky are they about damage to the phone. My son't iphone has a dent in the housing, the glass has a tiny chip. Do they consider that damage?

If I bring it in and they inspect it at an xfinity store and it passes can they later say it was damaged and cancel my trade in subsidy or is it the case that once they take it at a store you are safe? Sme question for locked phones.
