Yeah this is a good point. I have had my eye in Ghost Recon Breakpoint and the Ultimate edition was $20 last month.

I will never buy an Xbox controller without extra warranty anymore. These controllers seem to be getting worse and I have three series controllers with drift right now. Out of all my Xbox one, 360, and OG controllers I only ever had one drift and now these new ones suck for drift.

Ive had 4 new controllers since they first launched and had zero issues.

Same here. I started getting an extended warranty on controllers after buying the Series X. I've had two replaced/refunded and one breakdown just outside the warranty at 26 months.

These games aren't any good. Like someone mentioned, you can get them on sale for $10 or even less for PC.

all controllers use the same stick modules. regardless of console or generation

Just a personal anecdote.. I have a friend who complains about every controller (switch, xbox) he buys, saying they start drifting within a couple months. This same friend tosses them around like they're his house keys, often leaving them face down for days on end. Maybe you got a bad batch, but ive never had a Xbox controller drift/trigger lock so idk

I'm gonna be very annoyed when my halo edition controller breaks then. It's fine right now. Unless you can change out the case on a new controller.
