I bought this as my first resin printer probably close to 4-5 years ago now? Since then I've picked up the elegoo Mars I and the Elegoo Saturn I. Both far superior machines, but you would expect that given the price difference.
This monoprice machine had a BUNCH of issues back when I was first getting it to work.
Z-wobble causing visible layer shifts/banding in the print due to a subpar coupler. Firmware issues that were causing random layers where the entire light source would activate causing a random full plane layer to appear in my prints. Frequent failed prints caused by leveling issues that were hard to fix due to the nature of the magnetic build plate. As i struggled to try and get the machine to work for close to a year, I was in constant contact with Monoprice who sent me a few parts to try and fix the issues I was having, but it was a hassle and eventually I just gave up and bought the Mars.
Overall, I would not buy this machine again. It's sitting in my closet having never really printed anything well.

I also owned this printer when it first came out. Even as a tolerant and experienced user I just didn't want to deal with all the issues anymore and sent it back within a month. Just FYI.
I may be wrong here but I don't see anyone using resin for anything useful. I been using FDM for about 8-10 years now and always wanted to try resin but it just seems to messy and useless. I don't make models.
Weird choice for them to stock EU models in their US warehouses. They had a FDM printer that was EU model as well.
Monoprice sounds just like a very old store chain called monoprix, prix=price (French) idk if they're related but there u may have an idea why eu stock is here in the states
