I usually get the rotor + pad sets from rock auto. Even the premium ones are pretty cheap ~$100.

OEM engineering also states up to 10,000 miles between oil changes for ideal driving conditions and lifetime transmission fluid. The same OEM engineering is also pressured by executives in MARKETING to sell their products as low maintenance and cost effective. Just saying ...you decide.

Now what rotors you recommend with these softer ceramic pads?

I have the Hawk Performance Street pads and they are more metallic and mire friction so I used Cryo Frozen rotors.

I was able to secure 1.5 sets of pads for my E36M, they only had one set of rears so now I'll have to find em somewhere else at a similar price down the road. Kinda disappointed about it since I know I'll forget about the missing rears by the time I get around to the 2nd brake job.

I have never, and I mean, never, seen pads not sold 4 to a box, i.e. for both wheels on an axle. So what are you talking about??

Umm Amazon is known for poor quality checks of people buying new / returning fakes and Amazon repackaging or just sketchy straw sellers. Wouldn't trust it completely
